The other project is Zamin Davor irrigation project in Zamin Davor region of Helmand Province. A pump station is planned to be constructed at the downstream of Kajaki dam. Using the outflows of Kajaki dam, irrigation water will be supplied for upper elevations with a pumping system. The installed power of Zamin Davor pump station is planned to be 4500 kW and it will provide water for irrigation of approximately 9000 ha.

Establishment of cold storages in 12 provinces (Kabul, Parwan, Bamyan, Maidan-wardak, Panjshir (Central Region), Nangarhar, Laghman (East Region), Herat (West Region), Balkh, Saripul (North Region) and Kandahar, Ghazni (South Region).

The project locates in north of Afghanistan. The project is expected to add 197,000 hectares to the irrigated land. The required investment for the project is $ 193 million and a further $ 130 million will be spent by the farmers and entrepreneurs on the farms development.
